UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, Turquoise Myles

I spent LOTS of time reading reviews and trying out strollers in stores, in order to find a great stroller. I don't normally post reviews, but spent so much time on this decision (which I'm very happy with), that I thought I should share my experience. My 2009 Uppa just came yesterday; even though I haven't had it very long, I'm already in love! I live in an urban area and wanted a stroller that I could take everywhere--walks to the store, on errands, etc. and hold up on city streets. It was also important to me to have one that has a rear-facing possibility, as recent studies have suggested that this is important for language development.

I'm 7 months pregnant and it was very easy to put together--all of the parts just snapped in, so I didn't have any trouble figuring out whether I was doing it correctly, or tightening screws well enough. The instructions had detailed photos and were very easy to follow.

I knew the storage basket was big, but it's even bigger than I had remembered. Very accessible too. The stroller converts very easily between the bassinet seat (which I think I may use as an actual bassinet when baby is little) and the toddler seat (which can face either direction). A red indicator turns green when you've successfully snapped the seat in, too, for further peace of mind.

At first, I couldn't figure out how to fold the stroller, but once I figured it out, it's very easy. The only trouble is that there's no good place to hold it once it's folded. I don't plan on having to carry it folded very often, as I walk just about everywhere and won't need to take it in and out of my trunk very often.

I also seriously considered the Peg Perego Skate and the Uppa Vista 2008 strollers. In the end, the Skate was just too heavy. Also, I like the convenience of an actual basket, rather than worrying about tying down groceries with a bungee cord. Finally, the bassinet liner to the skate isn't included and the actual seat lining isn't machine washable (unlike the uppa). The 2008 uppa was a close second for me, but I liked the added features of the 09 model (especially the spf popout sun canopy, which is gigantic and wonderful) and the soft organic bedding in the bassinet. I also like having the possibility of adding a rumble seat to the uppa down the road, to get more years out of it.

I think I've finally found the perfect urban stroller!Buy UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, Turquoise Myles!

Graco Pack 'n Play Sheet White

This is one of the most cheaply made products I have ever seen. As other reviews have mentioned, they are so thin you can see right through them. They are also not well designed. My little ones do not stay perfectly still when they sleep. Unfortunately, pretty much any movement by the kids and the long sides come up over the pad.

I found some fitted sheets that actually stay on at [...]. The mom hand makes them, and she actually went out of her way to find a fabric that I liked. They are soft, stylish, and affordable. A much better option, in my opinion, plus I know I'm helping out another mom instead of some giant corporation!Buy Graco Pack 'n Play Sheet White!

The First Years 5 in 1 Carry Me Near Sleep System

We bought this item when I was pregnant. After buying it, a few other moms told me that I probably would not use the bassinet for very long and that it was really just a waste of money. Boy were they wrong! This is by far one of the most valuable items we purchased for our daughter. I love the fact that it rocks. There were some nights that this was the only way to get her to sleep. Also love the fact that it sits up. This was extremely convenient when she was between 2-5 months. She hated laying down unless she was already asleep. I could put the seat up then buckle her in and she would sit and play while I got dressed in the morning (something I totally took for granted before she was born! haha) While I think the changing table is a great idea, we never really used it, as it was more of a hassle to pull the bassinet off every change than it was to just use a changing pad. Also nice that it has light and sounds and vibration. My daughter seemed to care less about this, but every baby is different. The bassinet itself is really beautiful when put togehter and looked really lovely in our room. Overall, I would say this is a wonderful bassinet and worth every cent. My daughter (who is currently 6 months) has come to love this bassinet so much that we actually had a hard time transitioning her to her crib!!!Buy The First Years 5 in 1 Carry Me Near Sleep System!

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout

I got this because I am due to have twins in April and thought it would be great for when I was visiting family and such. Now that I have the thing together I will probably never take it apart for travel. It was a pain to assemble the bassinets and while I can see that it collapses and travels well it is just too much work to put it back together. So, for myself, this wont travel until I'm to point of using only the play pen.Buy Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout!

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Newborn Napper, Broadstreet

The "newborn napper" feature is what sold me. I was trying to decide between a pack n play and a bassinet, so when I saw that Graco had combined the two, I knew I found the right product. The "napper" is a great height for having the baby sleep alongside our bed. With practice, I'm able to reach my daughter in the middle of the night without even getting out of bed. The diaper stacker and wipes holder is just the right sized for a stack of diapers and a pack of wipes. I didn't put it together so I can't comment on the assembly. It has the two wheels, so I'm able to move it around pretty easily. Even if the napper feature is only used occasionally, I think this is a pretty useful product for the price. Keep in mind that although the weight limit for the napper isn't that low, its still a bassinet and baby will probably outgrow it quickly. Graco Swept Frame Pack 'n Play Portable Playard with Bassinet & Changing Table in Graham

Hello! I recently purchased the pack n play in Graham for my Son and his new daughter. In the photographs it appears to be a brown frame, with pale neutral covering. When it arrived, (very quickly, in few days) the frame was actually dark blue, with the neutral covers. My son is happy with it, I love it because the changing table is so convenient and the baby can be lulled to sleep with the vibrator. I am very happy with the product, I just would like the color combinations to be mentioned in the decription of the product, because the pictures are sometimes hard to make out. Thanks Amazon!

Graco Silhouette Pack 'n Play Playard with Bassinet & Changer, Townsend

It does everything a hi-tech pack 'n play should. It sings, chirps, vibrates, has a changing table, night light, bassinet AND it comes in a great fabric. I found the Graco pack 'n play much easier to set up and take down compared to the Chicco.

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Bassinet in Tango in the Tongo
This is an excellent piece of movable furniture designed for traveling with babies and toddlers. It provides a safe, controled environment for the kid to nap, and play inside with proper toys, if that is required. An excellent "bang for the buck".Buy Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Bassinet in Tango in the Tongo!

Graco Travel Lite Crib with Bassinet in Marlowe

I had been searching for a smaller pack and play for our 3 month grandaughter to use in our RV. There was no way our full size pack & play would have fit and I was unsure as to where she would sleep, but now my problem is solved! This turns out to be the perfect size! A good bit smaller than the full size but just as sturdy! The wheels are great, the bassinet feature will be useful until she's a little older and the canopy will come in handy for outside use. So, if you are looking for something smaller to use when traveling or camping - this is the one! Buy Graco Travel Lite Crib with Bassinet in Marlowe!
